October 3, 2019 -- Amala Redd, now 47 years old, was a third-grade student when she was sexually abused by a janitor at the Brooklyn Friends School, a prestigious private Quaker school. Her lawsuit alleges that the school janitor would take her out of her classes to sexually molest her and her teachers failed to ever ask why. She has suffered the trauma of that abuse for years but now has bravely come forward to file her lawsuit seeking justice under the New York Child Victims Act. She is represented by Irwin Zalkin.
