NBC 4 New York, Sept. 3, 2019 -- Holding back tears, Zalkin Law firm client, Amala Redd, today told the media her shocking story of being sexually abused when she was a third-grader at the Brooklyn Friends School in New York. Her lawsuit was filed to seek justice and to hopefully protect any other young children from suffering the abuse she endured from a janitor at the school. The lawsuit was filed under New Yor's Child Victims Act, which now allows older victims of childhood sexual abuse to come forward to seek civil justice.
Amala's statement is shown here on NBC 4 New York.
